It is recommended that you make an appointment
for Physiotherapy. Although
we do accept walk-ins, it is not always possible that you will be
seen immediately. Our goal is to accommodate people within the
same day.
Please call us and we will book an appointment.
Both clinics are able to direct bill the
following insurers for pre-approved calims:
- Worker’s Compensation Board (WCB)
- Insurance Corporation of British Columbia
(ICBC)
- Most International Travel Insurance
Companies
- Department of Veteran Affairs
- RCMP
- Westin Employee Benefit Program
Please contact each clinic directly
for the specific requirements of each group.
Concept Physiotherapy is not able to bill
directly to extended medical plans with the exception of some pre-approved
international travel insurance companies. All services provided
must be paid for at the time of treatment. You may then submit
to your extended medical company for reimbursement. Our reception
staff would be pleased to provide you with the necessary documentation.
Does BC Medical Services Plan (MSP) cover my Physiotherapy treatments?
MSP does not cover any Physiotherapy Therapy treatments unless you
qualify for Premium Assistance.
Premium assistance is offered to Canadian residents whose adjusted
net income
from the previous year is $28000.00 or less. Eligibility for this
is verified
by MSP through Revenue Canada from your filed income tax return.
To apply for
this assistance, a person must complete and sign an application
form; which can
be picked up at a Gov't Agents Office (Access Center).
If you qualify for premium assistance, you are partially covered
for up to ten
treatments in a calendar year. According to MSP these ten treatments
include
any combination of physiotherapy, massage therapy, chiropractic,
or podiatry
treatments you may have throughout the course of the year.
If you require further information, please visit the Ministry
of Health Services
website at www.healthservices.gov.bc.ca or contact one of our clinics
and the
office staff will be happy to assist you.
